An AMS that works for you!

I think I'm speaking for us all when I say that this year, drama and infighting in the AMS have impacted student advocacy all across campus. As students, we deserve a responsible, organized, and effective AMS that works hard for us all. If you vote yes to Solomon for VP External and re-elect me to Senate, then you can count on me to not take sides, not get involved in drama, and to do the work you've elected me to do.

A vote for Solomon is a vote for an AMS that works for you!

My Experience

Having spent years involved in advocacy and government, I have the experience and connections needed to advocate for students as your Senator and VP External.

In Highschool

In high school I used my role as leader of the Pride Club and in student council to get the school to create rainbow Pride Stairs, do a Truth and Reconciliation Assembly, and organized the first ever culture day to make all students feel welcome.

AUS First Year Rep

As the Arts Undergraduate Society's First Year Rep, I not only led my team to plan fun events and build community at UBC, but also used my role to run the Class of 2027 Academic Survey, and compiled the recommendations into a policy book for the Faculty of Arts.

Government Advocacy

Over the past 4 years, through my political roles I've organized town halls to advocate for lowering Canada's voting age, spoken at meetings to advocate for protecting LGBTQ youth and supporting Ukraine, and most recently helped secure funding to save 25 of BC's Sexual Health Clinics

UBC Senate

As one of your Student Senators, I worked hard to advocate for you by bringing proposals for recorded lectures, affordable textbooks, and student financial support to the Faculty of Arts, and pushed for more accessible exams on Senate.
